Registrations now open for the Franklin United FC School Holiday Program
Franklin United FC announces, that Christian Dawson will depart the club at the conclusion of the current season.Christian has led our Senior Women’s NRFL Championship squad for the past two seasons, delivering notable success throughout his tenure. Under his leadership, the team achieved back-to-back Kate Sheppard Cup quarter-final appearances and secured two consecutive league runner-up finishes. Beyond first-team achievements, Christian has been a strong supporter of both our Youth Girls and Junior programmes, contributing to development initiatives and creating meaningful pathways for young players to progress through the club’s structure.Christian has also provided opportunities for emerging female players to integrate into the senior environment, helping strengthen the long-term foundations of the women’s game at Franklin United FC.In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Christian stepped into a broader leadership role during an exceptionally challenging year for the club. His commitment and hard work were instrumental in supporting Franklin United FC through the Talent Development Programme (TDP) application process with New Zealand Football.Christian has expressed his sincere appreciation for the opportunities, support, and experiences he has enjoyed during his time with the club.Franklin United FC acknowledges the professionalism and dedication he has shown and extends its very best wishes to him for the future."The board are currently finalizing key appointments for the new season and expect to be able to update you all very soon
