Our Pathway and Programs

This page explains how the Franklin football pathway works, the role of Franklin United FC, and the development programs available for players who want additional opportunities. Participation in Franklin United programmes is optional and designed to complement community football.

  • Development guided by qualified coaches
  • Players may move between teams to find the right level of challenge
  • Opportunities to compete in national tournaments

The Franklin United Academy is aiming to have provisional TDP status for the start of the 2026 season.

Teams and Player Placement

Franklin United focuses on development rather than fixed teams. Players may move between teams during the season under the guidance of qualified coaches if this best supports their development.

Every player will:

  • Be placed in an appropriate team for matches
  • Train in a supportive environment
  • Be guided by qualified coaches

Our goals are always confidence, enjoyment and long-term development.

In Summary

Franklin United exists to:

Most importantly, we want every child to enjoy football, regardless of where their journey takes them.
