Our vision is to create a sustainable pathway to the top level for all football players, coaches and referees within the Franklin community.

We are challenging ourselves to change history and the past has shown us that the more talented youth players in our region have had to pursue their goals by joining an inner city club outside of the Franklin area. Without Franklin United, the opportunity for a pathway does not exist and this is putting extra pressure on local households and families, both socially and financially. Read on…

Districts Post is a locally operated newspaper distributed once a week, on Tuesdays to homes and businesses. They cover all of Franklin and North Waikato.

Franklin United is lucky to have the support of Districts Post supporting us with regular coverage through out the season in their paper.

Prashneel Roy

Left Back, Left Wing

Prashneel, in shirt no 7 plays on the left wing or left back for Franklin United.  Born in Fiji, another one of our young players aged 19, his favourite club is Barcelona and player is Ronaldinho.

His biggest influence is his parents and his favourite memory is captaining his school team and getting promoted back to back in six months.
